International specialist in supply chain optimization, reinforces customer relations with Selligent

FM Logistic is a global logistics specialist present in over 60 sites across 12 countries. The company optimizes transportation, storage, and packaging on an international level for over 900 medium-sized and large corporations active in very demanding industries worldwide.
Following strong international growth, FM Logistic was facing the limitations of its first CRM system, which had become obsolete. With customer data distributed across 40 different servers, the system could no longer manage the company's evolving and increasingly complex and international business needs.
After examining a dozen solutions, FM Logistic's functional users clearly favored the Selligent Relationship Management solution, and the Information System architects confirmed its technological capacities. The solution's ergonomics, suitability to needs, and agility were decisive criteria. “Some 50 users may be responsible for a given customer, at different levels and in different countries. We needed a solution able to give all users a cross-organizational view of the customer in order to best serve their needs and support our growth” said Olivier Motte, Functional IT Director at FM2i, the software services branch of FM Logistic.
The Selligent CRM solution will consolidate all the FM Logistic customer data and make its sales activities more efficient. Furthermore, the solution's multilingual functions along with its sales analysis and management features will let users share all their data and benefit from a 360° view of the customer, no matter the language, country, or business sector in which they operate. They will develop more relevant customer relations.
The project, first deployed in Spain, will concern over 200 users by December 2011 in 12 countries in Europe and Asia.
